Victor Stella, O.D.

Dr. Stella has been practicing optometry in Huntington Beach since 1970. He instructed in the contact lens and refracting clinics of the Southern California College of Optometry for 8 years following graduation.

Since 1979, Dr. Stella has been a clinical investigator for Allergan Pharmaceuticals Company. Many of our patients have participated in clinical studies to evaluate new contact lenses and related lens care products for FDA approval.

Our practice is general in scope with special emphasis on contact lens fitting for adults and children. The number of children we see has increased greatly now that we see three generations of many families that came to us in the early years.

We pride ourselves on taking time to perform state of the art eyecare.

Carmen Jan Yoo, O.D.

Dr. Carmen Jan was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil and lived there until she was twelve years of age, after which her family moved to Anaheim, CA. She grew up locally, attending Loara High School.

She completed her undergraduate studies at UC San Diego, where she majored in biology. She graduated from the Southern CA College of Optometry in Fullerton in 2001 and is an esteemed Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, an organization dedicated to research in the field of eyecare and vision science.

Dr. Jan's wide-ranging and well traveled experiences are highlighted by her internships at the VA Hospital Medical Center of West LA in Santa Monica, Crownpoint Indian Health Services in New Mexico, and USA Meddac in Tokyo, Japan.

Dr. Jan is married with two dogs, a Bichon Frise named Mitsy, and a Shih-Tzu named Bailey.

She is an optometrist by trade but has wide-ranging hobbies, including running, yoga, and her favorite, spending time at various Huntington Beach parks with her dogs. She has currently completed several half-marathons and one full marathon.

Dr. Jan had LASIK performed on her eyes three years ago, eliminating her dependence on contact lenses and eyeglasses, and claims that it is the best indulgence she has ever given herself.

She eagerly looks forward to serving your eyecare needs in Huntington Beach as a privileged VSP provider. Her eyecare services range from routine eye exams on patients of all ages (evaluating conditions such as cataracts and glaucoma) to hard to fit contact lenses and LASIK consultations. Her practice also offers a wide array of fashionable eyewear and sunglasses.

Ms. Gabriela Garcia, Anaheim Office Manager

Office Manager
Gabby is without doubt the "face" of Anaheim Harbor Optometry. She has been with us since August of 2005 and probably knows each one of our patients by now. For sure, our patients love and appreciate Gabby for her level of service, which goes well above and beyond what anyone would expect. She is currently our office manager and has earned her way there from the front desk through the optical dispensary. Her job responsibilities range from answering calls to frame and lens selections to acting as liaison to insurance companies. Anything a patient may need other than the actual eye exam, Gabby will most likely be able to tackle the task. Her ultimate goal simply is to make sure that each patient leaves our office well taken care of and happy with our service and products.

Outside of the Office, Gabby loves spending time with her family. With sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews, there always seems to be some family event going on to occupy her weekends. If she actually finds free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, gardening and cooking. She loves country music and Elvis Presley, a combination as unique and intriguing as the person herself.

Mrs. Holly Lee, Huntington Beach Office Manager

Holly is the "heart, soul, and conscience" of our Huntington Beach office. She began working with us in September 2006 and has steadily worked her way up to being the office manager. In addition to overseeing the office in such areas as patient scheduling, staff training, and insurance billing, Holly also specializes in frame selection to match patients' vision care and fashion needs. In essence, Holly will ensure that each and every patient's needs and concerns are individually addressed before the patient leaves our office.

While performing her work with professionalism and integrity is of utmost importance to her, there is a whole other adventurous side to Holly. Do not be too surprised to see her cycling down Pacific Coast Highway or rock climbing in Joshua Tree or Owens River Gorge. She tackles the outdoors with the same level of focus she brings to work. Ms. Guadalupe Lopez, Optician

"Lupe" as we affectionately call her, has been part of our Huntington Beach office for a little over a year now. She has been a great addition to our team with her hard work and professional attitude. Lupe blesses both the staff and the patients with her bright and sunny disposition and laughter, as you will discover when you meet her. Her quick sense of humor and enthusiastic spirit are greatly appreciated by patients , who repeatedly let us know just how "at home" they are made to feel in our practice. Lupe is skilled at selecting the proper frames for the different shapes of patients' faces and ensuring comfortable adjustment of each pair of new glasses.

Lupe is currently attending Cypress College to obtain a degree in Mortuary Science. She also enjoys tennis, reading novels, going to comedy clubs, and of course, laughing. It is a guarantee that anyone who encounters Lupe will walk away with a better feeling about their day.

Ms. Karen Ramirez, Optician

Karen is the newest addition to our team. She has extensive experience in the optical field, having worked directly with patients and in the lens lab, cutting lenses for patients' glasses. Her area of expertise includes frame selection to properly match and flatter patients' facial profiles, as well as lens choices to meet the many demands of today's visual challenges. Her knowledge extends beyond spectacles, as she is equally experienced in contact lens training. She takes great pride in each patient encounter to ensure patients have achieved their lifestyle, fashion, and vision-related goals with their selections. In so doing, Karen will make sure to maximize each patient's medical and vision benefits.

Much like her work relationship with patients, Karen values nothing more than her family, with whom she spends most of her "free" time. She is an avid sports fan and enjoys the party atmoshpere of watching games in a large group. When she has a moment to herself, Karen enjoys the escape of reading.
